What is CASA?Court Appointed Special Advocates. There are approximately 1500 children in the custody of the state here in Tulsa County. These are kids in foster homes or shelters. With these cases, there are so many people that are working with their case to some degree. There are attorneys, judges, case workers. foster parents, birth parents, etc. The CASA volunteer talks with all of these people and speaks for the child in court.
