What is happening to the homeless population in Tulsa? The homeless and at risk homeless are up 60%. The number of meals that John 3:16 is serving is up 60% this year. The homeless population that John 3:16 are helping are generally not the people that stand on the side of the road with a sign. The largest segment of the population are children. We try to make sure that those we serve remember where their hope comes from and that they have a Savior, Jesus Christ. We are getting ready to do a Food Drive for the holidays. We will also be doing other fundraisers for the food drive.

What is the Mortgage Disclosure Improvement Act? Lenders have always had to disclose the overall cost of your loan and other information during the lending process. This includes fees and the actual Annual Percentage Rate. Lenders that are not reputable would play games with the rate by adding fees. Many clients would close with a higher rate because the lenders would change the fees at the last minute. This act requires that lenders redo the Truth in Lending disclosure if the APR goes up by .125% or more. It also requires that closing must wait 3-7 days so that the buyers have time to understand. This might cause issues when purchasing a home because this waiting time can't be waived. It is required and closing will be delayed. This also can increase costs for the seller and buyer for items such as interest, storage costs due to delayed closing and more.
How do I understand my insurance company's late payment policy? One of the main things that customers need to know is their policy coverage as well as the company and their policies on payments. Ask questions such as "When does my payment have to be received in order to be on time? Does the payment need to be postmarked by a certain time? In what office does the payment need to be received? How do you issue a cancellation policy, will it be a part of the bill or separate? Do you have a maximum # of late payments that are allowed before you cancel my insurance policy permanently?"
