C.A.S.A.Court Appointed Special Advocates- CASA Appoints specially trained individuals to work with kids that have been removed from the home. They work with the kids, DHS workers, doctors, lawyers, and any other person that is involved in the child's case. They will talk to everyone involved and give information to the judge. HARP 2- Home Affordable Refinance Program 2, This originally came out in March of 2009. HARP 2 is an expansion of the program that allows people to refinance who have lost value in their home or may be upside down in their mortgage. Right now, the servicers are allowed to refinance on their own portfolio. March 15, 2012 another lending institution can refinance one of the home loans approved for HARP 2. Foreclosing on a home is always a lose-lose situation, not only do homeowners lose their home, but the bank loses money as well. Christmas Safety- 1) Make sure you have a fire retardant tree. If you have a live Christmas Tree, make sure it is well watered and don't place it near fireplaces or heaters. 2) Don't connect more than 3 strands of lights together. 3) Don't stand on a rotating chair to hand decorations.
